When you dial 911 during an emergency every second counts. Unfortunately, precious minutes are often wasted as emergency personnel try to locate the correct house- especially at night. The Emergency Light Switch insurers that your house will be found as quickly as possible. Simply replace the front porch light switch with the 911 Emergency Light Switch. It installs and functions just like a standard light switch, but flip it to the special 911 position and the connected light will flash on and off, helping emergency personnel locate your home faster. After help arrives you can move the switch to the constant on or off position. (There are 3 positions: on, off and flashing). It can also be used to help the pizza delivery man find your house, or guests if you are expecting company. It is easy to install; typically takes less than 10 minutes (no electrical experience needed, instructions are included). Please note that the white switch cover plate pictured is not included (you will use your current switch plate cover). This item will only work on traditional incandescent light bulbs (will not work with any type of fluorescent light) and is intended for use with permanently installed, single pole one switch circuits only.
